• 4 chicken breasts or whole chicken cut up
  • 1 cupFlour
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1cup Flour
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs (or crushed Ritz crackers)
  • oil for frying



You will have 3 bowls to dip chicken in. 1st bowl- flour with salt and pepper; 2nd bowl- Eggs and water, whisked together; 3rd bowl- flour and panko bread crumbs

Heat oil while preparing chicken.  Roll chicken in 1st bowl then coat with egg mixture in second bowl. Then roll in flour/crumb mixture in third bowl. When well coated add chicken to hot oil and cook until 165 degrees and juices run clear.  lay out on paper towel lined plate or tray

Serve with spaetzle or mashed potatoes
