Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 10 corn tortillas cut into strips (or use store bought corn tortilla chips)
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 small can green chilies(optional)
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 1/3 cups salsa verde or green sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheese
Directions
- 1 Heat oil in 10-inch skillet until hot. Cook tortilla strips in oil 30 to 60 seconds or until light golden brown; drain.
- 2 In hot skillet. cook onions until translucent. Return chips to skillet and add green chilies, chicken and salsa. Stir to combine. Place lid on Skillet and cook 2-3 minutes to allow chips to absorb salsa
- Remove from heat and mix in cheese.
