red chili flakes

1 cup diced ham

1 medium onion, chopped

2 celery ribs with leaves, chopped

1 carrot , chopped

2 cans white beans- any type- with juice, do not drain

1-2 cans chicken broth

2 green onions chopped



In pan, add oil, red chili flakes, ham, onion, celery, carrots, salt and pepper; simmer. Add beans and broth and reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes or until beans and vegetables are tender. Garnish with green onions. Yield: 7 servings.
